As an internationally certified master groomer, Joanne has been serving the pets and pet parents of the York Region community for over 25 years, working alongside veterinarians and always striving to provide the absolute best care for her clients. After decades of working in the pet care industry, Joanne noticed a lack of daycare and boarding facilities that she could feel comfortable referring her clients and their pets to. There was nowhere that combined ample outdoor space, proper adherence to city safety regulations and licensing, and the high level of care that she expects for pets.

Joanne set out to use her knowledge, experience, and passion for pet care to create a space for her clients and all of the pets in the York Region community where they could receive the high level of care they deserve. With the help of her husband Jason’s skills as a licensed contractor, they created a fully licensed kennel on an acre of beautiful, safe outdoor space in Richmond Hill. With the creation of Pet Château Joanne finally has a place where she could offer peace of mind for her clients and a loving space for their fur babies, a true home away from home for the pets of York Region.
